Our mission
Many thanks to Gabriel Perez, a Dumont High School student and graphic artist, for designing the Friends logo.
To support the Dixon Homestead Library, primarily in the area of fundraising, in addition to supporting programming efforts, recruiting additional Friends members as volunteers, and advocating for the library.

What does the friends of the library group do?
We maintain an association of individuals interested in advocating for the Dixon Homestead Library by:
Focusing public attention on library services, facilities, and needs.
Sponsoring programs and activities to enhance library services (i.e. Children’s Summer Reading Program, ESL, Library of Things).
Promoting community involvement.
Raising funds for the library beyond the scope of borough funding.
